WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) â Itâs a victory for parents in the Williamsville and Orchard Park Central School Districts after a State Supreme Court Judge ruled Thursday the Districtâs must provide 5-day per week in-person learning to all studentsânot just those in elementary school.
âKids belong in school 5-days a week,â said Dana Hensley, one of the Williamsville parents behind the lawsuit. âThe most important thing is that the judge listened to both sides and saw that there was no evidence from the state to create these arbitrary rules,â she said.
Some parents have enrolled their children in private schools because they’re not waiting for New York State to give the okay for five-day a week learning for September.
