The Ghana Football Association (GFA), is engaging the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), on the media capacity training programme for members.
This is in line with the bigger vision of the GFA to train members of the sports media in the work of the Association and its competitions as well as to improve relationship with industry players.
It will be recalled that the GFA in June, 2020, made an allocation of Seven Thousand dollars ($7,000) for media capacity building through the FIFA/CAF Covid-19 Relief Funds.

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), has condoled with the family and members of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), over the sudden death of Hon. Emmanuel Ibah on Tuesday.
SWAN equally condoled with the immediate family of the late Ibah and reassure them that the association will continue to identify with them despite the passing of their patriarch.
Ibah who was until his demise, the Chairman of Akwa Ibom Football Association as well as Coordinator of the South-South zone of the NFF was reported to have died after brief illness.
In a tribute by Sir Honour Sirawoo and Jude Opara, SWAN President and Secretary General respectively, they described Ibah as a true friend of the association who constantly identified with the activities of the Akwa Ibom State Chapter.

Madam Maria Morgan Luyken, the Liberian woman who was, few months ago, found guilty for trafficking two kids to the United States of America without the consent of their biological parents has again been charged this time for allegedly duping US$378,490 from several Liberians.
Defendant Luyken is the chief executive officer of the popular Destiny Entertainment Center located on the Capitol Bye-Pass Community, in Monrovia.
According to the court documents obtained from Criminal Court ‘C’, where Defendant Luyken and several other defendants are expected to stand trial, they (defendants) organized a criminal Enterprise named ‘Cycle of Life Fellowship’, private saving club and used that entity to dupe their victim, Madela Zayzay, who is seeking refund of their money.
