VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Emma Mielke has been named the Farmers Union Insurance Wrestler of the Week
Emma, a senior, wrestles for the Hi-Liners at 132 lbs. She is the daughter of Sandi and Chuck Mielke and has one younger brother, Evan, also a wrestler for the Hi-Liners.
Emma finished up a fantastic week going 3-0 with her wins coming vs Red River, & Fargo Davies.
Emma is an exceptional student athlete for the Hi-Liners as she is a member of the “A” Honor roll, ND Honor Society & also participates in golf, trap shooting and softball for VCHS.
In her free time, Emma likes to hang out with friends and play video games. Her favorite video games are Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JRMC) – While not on active duty, members of the American Legion continue to serve their country and community.
“We all got out of the military, came home and joined the Legion,” said Jerry Lagodinski about the American Legion Henry Parthie Post No. 146, Edgeley, N.D. It is an essential part of the community’s history and is still active today, funding youth projects, families in need and cancer care.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Carson, is a senior and is the starting varsity wrestler for the Hi-Liners at 220lbs.
He is the son of Kathy and Jasen McGough. Carson has one older brother, Cole, who also wrestled for the Hi-Liners.
He is currently ranked 2nd in the EDC at 220 and has started the year 4-0, with 2 of those wins coming when he moved up to the 285lb weight class.
Carson is coming of a huge win vs Austin Kessler of Jamestown, who had beat him last year at the ND State Dual Tournament.
He is a student athlete for the Hi-Liners as he is a member of the “B” Honor roll and made “academic all-state” last year and is on pace to do so again this year. He also participates in football and track.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Koltyn, is an 8th grader and is the starting varsity wrestler for the Hi-Liners at 106lbs.
He is the son of York and Nikki Grebel. Kolytn has two older brothers, Koye and Kael, that both
wrestle for the Hi-Liners.
Koltyn is currently ranked 2nd in the EDC at 106 and has started the year 3-0 coming off wins over
wrestlers from Grand Forks Central, Devils Lake and Fargo South. All 3 of his wins were by pin, and one of those pins was at the 113lb weight class.
He is a student athlete for the Hi-Liners as he is a member of the “B” Honor roll and
