Social activist Anna Hazare on Monday said he will launch an agitation in New Delhi in January on issues concerning farmers if the Centre did not take a firm decision on his demands. In a press release issued in his native village Ralegan Siddhi in adjoining Ahmednagar district, the veteran anti-corruption crusader said he has decided to resume his protest in Delhi from next month and has informed the Centre about his agitation.
Social activist Anna Hazare on Monday said he will launch an agitation in New Delhi in January on issues concerning farmers. In his letter dated December 28, issued from his native village Ralegan Siddhi of Maharashtra s Ahmednagar district, he said, that he has decided to again sit protest in Delhi from next month. On December 15, Hazare wrote to Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and warned of resuming hunger strike if the Centre does not fulfil his demands including the implementation of the recommendations made by MS Swaminathan Commission. Hazare said if the government implements the recommendations made by the MS Swaminathan Commission, only then will the suicide cases of farmers can be stopped. Vegetables, fruit, milk s Minimum Support Price (MSP) should also determined, he demanded.

ये पागल है। इसको पता है भी या नहीं कि इन कानूनों में है क्या। बस भेड़ चाल है। चलो थोड़ी पब्लिसिटी और कम लू जाते जाते। कब यमराज लेने आ जाए।
इसको समझना चाहिए कि मोदी से अच्छा पीएम किसी पार्टी में ना हुआ है ना होगा। ये सभी छोटे किसानों का पूरा भला चाहता है।

PUNE, Dec 28: Social activist Anna Hazare has threatened to go on a hunger strike if his demands on issues concerning farmers are not met by the Union government by the end of January next year, and said it would be his “last protest”.
Speaking to reporters in his Ralegaon Siddhi village in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra on Sunday, Hazare said had had been holding protests for cultivators since the last three years, but the Government has done nothing to resolve the issues.
“The Government is just giving empty promises due to which I do not have any trust left (in the government)…Let’s see, what action the Centre takes on my demands. They have sought time for a month, so I have given them time till January-end. If my demands are not met, I will resume my huger strike protest. This would be my last protest,” the 83-year-old said.
