The cast of
Ted Lasso is currently in the UK filming the second season of the beautiful, brilliant series. And it appears that some of the castmates are hanging out outside of work hours, as a number of them recently attended a soccer match together friendship
and research!
The men, who all play soccer players on the show, were asked for an interview after the game. Except they weren’t interviewed as the stars of a major hit TV show. It was just one of those “let’s get random fans’ reactions to the game” interviews. Reporter Chris Skudder had no idea who they were.

With recent violent escalations in the conflict between Israel and Palestine, there is a lot of information going around in the media, but also a reluctance to talk too much about a topic that has been so polarizing for over 70 years. Turning on mainstream television, I didn’t honestly expect to see anyone talk about this issue with empathy, but Trevor Noah continues to be one of the best at doing this work.
I highly recommend watching the full video because I think Noah does an excellent job in speaking about the power dynamics and humanity involved. Right now, the current death toll in Gaza has risen to 65 Palestinians, including 16 children and five women. At least six people have been killed on the Israeli side. Hundreds of Palestinians and Israelis have been wounded.
CNN anchor and Donald Trump’s least favorite journalist Jim Acosta took on Fox News in a searing indictment of their relentless lies and bad faith messaging. In the five-minute rant, Acosta called Fox News “a bullshit factory” and referred to Tucker Carlson as “Fox News’s Doctor of Disinformation,” adding that he “sounds like he went to medical school at Trump University.” Acosta continued to lambast the network and other conservative “news” outlets for spreading lies and propaganda, saying “That tale from the border didn’t just border on B.S., this was USDA, grade-A bullshit,” in reference to the retracted story from the New York Post which falsely claimed that migrant children were given a children’s book written by Vice President Kamala Harris.
