The Eastern Ontario Health Unit disclosed 17 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday afternoon, also seeing an increase in active cases for the first time in several days.
The new cases bring the running total of cases in the pandemic to 1,268, with 10 new cases in Clarence-Rockland, two in Alfred & Plantagenet, one in Casselman, three in Russell, one in North Stormont, and two in South Glengarry. Two cases were removed from the tally in The Nation, with no explanation posted on the EOHU website.
