Intelligent.com Announces Best Colleges In Wisconsin for 2021

The comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of 188 accredited colleges and universities in the nation. Each institution is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.
The 2021 rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third party evaluations. Intelligent.com analyzed 188 schools, on a scale of 0 to 100, with only 41 making it to the final list. The methodology also uses an algorithm which collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each school.

Solon Springs High School student Hannah Koivisto earned a $10,000 Student Initiative Award from the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation, the organization recently announced.
In addition to 100 Teacher Excellence Fellowships, the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation gives out 100 Student Excellence and 100 Student Initiative scholarships annually. The intent of the Initiative Scholarship is to recognize students who put forth extraordinary effort to do their best in the classroom and have overcome significant obstacles

Voters in Superior’s 10th District face a choice as Esther Dalbec steps down after more than a decade of service on the City Council.
Two candidates have stepped forward to fill the seat: Lindsey Graskey and Kevin Keener Jr.
Graskey is the general manager, creative director and part proprietor of the Spirit Room. Keener, who helped restore North End Days, works for Essentia Health.

“I am running because of my passion for our city and its success, my business’ dedication to the district, and the relationships I’ve gained from living in the North End,” Graskey said. “Additionally, the Jim Dalton family reached out to me in December and encouraged me to run while he was struggling with health issues. His family felt I was aligned with what Jim Dalton would want for the North End.
