By Robert Kennedy Mar 12, 2021 9:10 AM GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Lambeau Field will open next week as a mass coronavirus vaccination site. The Green Bay Packers, Bellin Health and Brown County Public Health are teaming up to offer the clinic. It will be open to eligible community members beginning Wednesday. At this time, those 65 years old and older, along with many essential workers, including police, firefighters, first responders and teachers, are eligible. A full list of eligible people is available on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ website. Beginning March 29th, those with certain chronic conditions will become eligible. The clinic in the Lambeau Field Atrium will have enough supply to vaccinate 6,000 people per week at the beginning. If weather conditions allow, other areas of the stadium could open to vaccinations as well. The stadium could potentially handle as many as 10,000 people a week with enough supply.
