Daily News staff Wisconsin health officials Saturday posted a new coronavirus-related death in Marinette County, part of a record day in the state that saw 128 added to the toll. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services listed 128 deaths in the state Saturday a new one-day record to reach 5,450. Marinette County reached 55 deaths Saturday, along with 3,781 confirmed coronavirus cases, still the most in the region. In Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the state Department of Health and Human Services’ COVID-19 data site added 71 confirmed positives Saturday: 24 in Houghton County; eight in Alger County; five in Dickinson, Iron, Marquette, Delta and Chippewa counties; four in Gogebic and Keweenaw counties; three in Menominee County; and one in Baraga, Schoolcraft and Mackinac counties. Delta and Schoolcraft counties each had one new death attributed to the virus.
