MADISON, Wis. - The deadline to renew expired licenses for drivers age 60 and over has been extended to May 21, 2021. The extension is due to the continued health risks from COVID-19.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) estimates this extension impacts 62,000 Wisconsin drivers.
Drivers who need to visit a DMV, such as those age 65 and over who cannot use the new online driver license renewal (wisconsindmv.gov/renewDL) or those needing a REAL ID, can reduce their time in the service center by beginning the process online:

Top winners include an asphalt paving project in Lincoln County; a concrete paving project in Outagamie County; a grading project in Kenosha County; a small bridge project in Jackson County; a large bridge project in Adams and Juneau counties; and a large contract project in Dane County.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) recently posted information for the planned resurfacing of approximately 6 miles of WIS 67 between Gateway Boulevard, east of Beloit, and WIS 140, south of Clinton in Rock County.
The project – scheduled for 2027 with possible advancement to 2025 – will resurface WIS 67 and replace beam guard. These maintenance actions will improve the life of the roadway and enhance safety. WIS 67 traffic will be detoured during construction via I-39/90 and I-43. Emergency and local access will be maintained.
