Not all insurrections are bad, as VDARE.com has pointed out with recent examples: 2011 occupation of Wisconsin State Capitol and recent occupation of a state capitol by BLM thugs (er, peaceful protestors).
I remember now, those were OK because they occurred in daylight, or was it night? I was reading some 50-year anniversary pieces and the Vietnam Veterans Against the War s Capitol protest named Dewey Canyon III came up in the news feeds. (WikiPedia says it was a peaceful protest and illustrates it with the picture at right.)
Yes, there’s plenty to beef about with the Vietnam War, except the true blue Communist angle to the enemy.

Great news: Wisconsin’s public pension system, administered by the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) with assets managed by the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), is one of the best-funded pension systems in the nation.

Republicans on the committee, strongly in the majority, believe the best way to help Wisconsin’s unhoused people is to make it cheaper for local governments to help them find jobs.
As the JFC considered the housing provisions in Gov.
Tony Evers proposed 2021-23 budget Thursday, the four Democrats on the 16-person body pleaded unsuccessfully with the Republicans to keep millions of dollars in housing aid for workers and the homeless.

The School of Pharmacy, Fitchburg Family Pharmacy, and the Boys and Girls Club partner to increase COVID-19 vaccine access and address hesitancy among BIPOC communities

As pharmacists and healthcare providers rallied to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, the race to vaccinate the public opened a different battlefront addressing vaccine equity. Although people of color have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic in coronavirus cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, these communities of color have lower rates of vaccination. In Wisconsin, the COVID-19 vaccination rate for Black patients is about half the rate of white patients.
