In 2011, Wisconsin citizens were liberated from Democratsâ reign of terror and replaced by Republican adults, who quickly took charge of the state. Governor Scott Walker and the Republican majority in the legislature took on the public unions to level the playing field for Wisconsin taxpayers who had been shouldering public employeesâ benefits and pensions for years to the tune of $156 million in debt and facing an insurmountable $3.6 billion budget shortfall. While the state of Wisconsin was facing a dire financial crisis, its citizens were also struggling to support themselves and fund their own less-fortified health insurance and retirement accounts. The public unions had held the citizens of Wisconsin hostage for far too long and standing up to them was long overdue.

Police arrest man 3 times in less than 3 weeks on separate OWI offenses

The man, 36-year-old William C. Maysack admitted to using heroin, according to an incident report.
According to the report, Maysack was behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle in the 1800 block of South Stoughton Road shortly before noon on Tuesday when a woman spotted him driving slowly before slumping over the steering wheel.
Police said a Madison Fire Department paramedic who responded to the scene was able to reach into the car, put it into park and take the keys.
Earlier this month, police arrested Maysack following two other incidents involving stolen vehicles and erratic driving.
DOJ identifies man shot, killed by Wisconsin State Troopers

Officials said Joseph R. Crawford, 23, died from multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.
Three Wisconsin State Troopers fired their weapons, according to the DOJ.
They’ve been identified as Trooper Keegan Williams, Trooper Alexander Polizzi and Trooper David Heinisch.
Williams has five years of law enforcement experience. Polizzi has three years of law enforcement experience. Heinisch has one year of law enforcement experience.
The shooting stems from a traffic stop on Dec. 9. Troopers pulled someone over for speeding on Highway 26 between Watertown and Johnson Creek.
Officials said the vehicle briefly stopped, but the driver sped away after a passenger got out.
Man killed by state troopers near Fort Atkinson was suspect in armed robbery at Monona bank

MONONA, Wis. The man shot and killed by Wisconsin State Troopers near Fort Atkinson last week was a suspect in an armed bank robbery that happened the morning he was killed.
Monona police initially responded to Summit Credit Union at 5809 Monona Drive at 9:44 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery, according to a news release. When they arrived, officers learned that a man entered the bank where he made contact with two employees.
The man reportedly showed a gun and ordered the two employees to take him to the vault. The man escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
