Sheboygan’s Rockline Industries Inc. has announced that they are expanding.
The family-owned wet wipe manufacturer said the $19.7 million project will create 54 new jobs is being supported by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
The WEDC is contributing up to $380,000 in state income tax credits over the next three years. As is the case with most of these agreements, the actual amount of tax credits Rockline will receive is contingent upon the number of jobs created and the amount of capital investment during that period.
In addition to the 54 jobs expected to be created by Rockline, an economic modeling study estimates the project could indirectly generate 25 additional jobs in the region.

Between fires in 2019 destroying two businesses and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Three Lakes knows there’s a lot of opportunity for growth.
“We are excited as a downtown group to help build a more vibrant downtown,” said Jacqui Sharpe. Sharpe is the Associate Director for the Three Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the facilitator for the Forward Three Lakes Downtown Working Group.
The groups have spent the last year researching what a more vibrant downtown might look like and how to get there.
In November, Design Wisconsin revealed what opportunities it says are there for the town after months of surveys and feedback from people in the community.
