University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Athletics
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) The UWSP baseball team swept a doubleheader from UW-Stout on Thursday. The scores were 12-2 and 5-1.
Aaron Simmons had four hits on the day, scored four times and had one RBI. Bradley Comer also had four hits including his 2nd homer of the season. He drove in three. Tommy Duddleston and Payton Nelson had three hits each.
Nick Carpenter and JD Schultz picked up the wins.
The Pointers, now 6-2, will play a DH at Stout today.
