In her UFC flyweight debut, Shevchenko put delivered a one-sided beating to an over-matched Priscila Cachoeira. Shevchenko won the vacant flyweight title in her next outing. Since that victory, which took place in December 2018, Shevchenko has ruled the roost at the top of the flyweight division with four title defenses. On Saturday, at UFC 261, Shevchenko puts her belt on the line against former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – All eyes will be on Jacksonville Saturday as it hosts Ultimate Fighting Championship 261, the city’s first live sports event with a sellout crowd since the pandemic began.
Up to 15,000 fans will pile into VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena for the highly anticipated UFC fight card headlined by a bout that pits Jorge Masvidal against Kamaru Usman for the UFC welterweight title.
But even as professional sports look to bring fans back into the stands, public health experts are voicing concerns about taking a victory lap before Florida is completely out of the woods.
Grace Potter
• Grace Potter has left her band at home for this trip, traveling in an RV with just her family and her sound crew. She ll do an intimate limited-capacity show at 8 p.m. Friday at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. $53-$83.
Machine Gun Kelly
• Ready or not, here come the full-capacity crowds. Two events a Machine Gun Kelly concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Daily s Place and UFC 261 at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena are being sold to 100 percent of the venues capacity, the first such events in more than a year in Jacksonville and some of the first in the nation since the pandemic. Both are nearly sold out. A few seats were available early this week for Kelly s show at $219.75. UFC tickets are $402-$10,000.
