Kagwe said so far 80,186 people have recovered from Home Based Care and Isolation while 30,294 are from various Health facilities.
Sadly, 25 more patients have succumbed to the disease pushing fatalities to 2,850 since the first case was reported in March 2020.

Kagwe said one death occurred in the last 24 hours while 14 on diverse dates within the last one month and 10 are late death reports from facility record audits. A total of 1,086 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities while 6,381 are on Home Based Isolation and Care, he said.
Kagwe said 131 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit-ICU of whom 28 are on ventilatory support, 83 on supplemental oxygen and 20 are on observation.
Kenya has today reported 489 new cases of Coronavirus pushing the total caseload to 161,393.
The Chief Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr Rashid Aman, in a briefing said the new cases were from 4,426 tests conducted in the last 24 hours representing a positivity rate of 11 per cent.
Aman said of the new cases, 449 are Kenyans and 40 foreigners with the youngest being a four-month baby and the oldest 102 years old.
The CAS said although 552 patients have recovered within the same period, some 20 patients had died pushing the total number of deaths to 2,825 since the first case was reported last year. Covid 19 Time Series
Kenya’s COVID-19 Positivity Rate Drops
Kenya’s Covid-19 positivity rate dropped to 5.2 percent Tuesday after 345 new infections were recorded from a sample size of 6,686 tested in 24 hours.
The country’s positivity rate dropped from 8.3 percent reported on Monday.
The Health Ministry announced the new cases include 339 Kenyans and six are foreigners. 195 were male and 150 were female.
The youngest was a two-year-old baby while the oldest was 94 years old.
As of Tuesday, the total number of positive cases stood at 160,904.
At the same time, 24 patients succumbed to the disease with one having occurred in the last 24 hours, 15 on diverse dates within the last one month, and 8 are late death reports from facility record audits.
