If you have concerns with the Trudeau government’s bill to regulate the internet, then our fair-minded PM wants you to know that he thinks you are a tinfoil hat-wearing conspiracy theorist.
Forget the fact that the bill has been criticized from the left, right and centre, from academics, lawyers and business groups – the people against it are loons in Trudeau’s eyes.

Independent, non-partisan Parliamentary Budget Officer Yves Giroux dismantled Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland’s first budget on Wednesday with the skill of a math professor marking a student’s Grade 8 arithmetic exam claiming that two plus two equals five.
He said the document she unveiled April 19 overestimated how much it will help Canada’s economy recover from the COVID-19 recession, overstated the amount being spent on stimulus and underestimated the deficits and debt it will generate for years to come.

That was Liberal House leader Pablo Rodriguez, caught on a hot mic during a Zoom question period Monday afternoon. Rodriguez was reacting to a decision to have Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan answer a question about the cancellation of a defence committee meeting earlier in the day rather than the committee’s chair, Liberal MP Karen McCrimmon, who was apparently responsible for cancelling the meeting.
