Trump s mini revolution is missing a megaphone | Donald Trump News

Wednesday’s decision by Facebook’s oversight board to uphold former United States President Donald Trump’s suspension from the site highlighted the reality he faces these days: it is hard to sustain a political revolution without a megaphone. The reaction to the decision, which forces Facebook to figure out in the next six months whether Trump should be permanently banned, did not result in a Trump-fuelled firestorm, mainly because he lacks the tools to ignite one. Calling Facebook’s decision a “total disgrace” in an emailed press release, the reaction to the decision was limited to elected Republicans and Trump supporters hitting the airwaves and Twitter to lambast Facebook.

Inside the Beltway: Defense Department launches UFO evaluation

“An independent government watchdog will investigate the Pentagon’s actions regarding UFOs following complaints from congressional leaders on how the Department of Defense has handled the out-of-this-world topic,” said the New York Post. CNN advised that a “government watchdog is set to examine Pentagon’s handling of UFOs,” adding that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and other agencies will deliver unclassified reports on UAPs to Congress in June. “Untold Mysteries! DoD IG looking at how Pentagon handles UFO/UAP sightings,” advised Meritalk, while The New Yorker produced a lengthy analysis of historic reports titled “How the Pentagon started taking U.F.O.s seriously.”

House Republicans have settled on the member who will introduce the formal resolution removing Liz Cheney from leadership: Rep. Virginia Foxx of North Carolina. Foxx, a veteran GOP lawmaker, spoke out against Cheney during February’s closed-door meeting on the Wyoming Republican s future, according to multiple party sources. Ahead of this year s failed first attempt to oust Cheney from leadership, Foxx specifically took issue with the fact that Cheney used her “conference chair” title in the press release announcing her vote to impeach then-President Donald Trump.

What is Liz Cheney s end game? | News/Talk 1130 WISN

By Benjamin Yount May 5, 2021 In a lot of disagreements its best to ask ‘How do you want this to end?’ Not only does that usually end some of the fighting, it gives people a hint if this is just a disagreement, or if this is the end. Because if there is no mutually agreeable end game, then what’s the point.  We could have this conversation about Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, but we need to have this conversation about Liz Cheney and the Republicans.  Cheney, as you know, is an outspoken Never-Trumper. She is losing support in both her home state of Wyoming and on Capitol Hill.
