Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Ayman Mohyeldin Reports,” assistant House Speaker Katherine Clark (D-MA) reacted to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) criticism of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) select committee after the speaker vetoed two of his committee appointees.
McCarthy described Pelosi’s process as a “sham.”
Clark pushed back against McCarthy’s criticism, arguing it is “beyond hypocritical” because he could not put “every conspiracy theorist” on the committee.
“You know, what Kevin McCarthy has shown again today is that he is about perpetuating the big lie around our elections, around the insurrection and violence of January 6 and what led up to it,” Clark stated.

Wednesday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson reacted to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) rejection of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) selection of Republicans to sit on her so-called January 6 commission.
Carlson insisted Pelosi could explain what happened that day but has yet to do so.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was right to block House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) picks of Reps. Jim Banks (R-IN) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) from Serving on January 6 Committee.
Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “We were talking earlier about Speaker Pelosi rejecting two of minority leader McCarthy’s appointments, Jim Jordan and Jim Banks, to investigate the Capitol riots. What do you think about Pelosi’s just unprecedented decision?”
