Erin and Ben Napier are expecting their second child! During the latest episode of
Home Town, the Laurel, Mississippi couple shared the exciting news that they were having a girl and that their 3-year-old daughter Helen was becoming a big sister. Not only that, but Erin s brother and his wife also revealed that they were expecting as well. To make things ever more adorable, Erin and her sister-in-law are only a few weeks apart in their respective pregnancy journeys.

very soon. The HGTV star is currently seven months pregnant and had managed to keep the news under wraps until now. However, for the majority of this pregnancy, she was busy filming for not just one. but two series. She spoke with HGTV about working on the latest season of

Erin and Ben headed to Wetumpka, Alabama to film the new series, and restored 12 locations in the town including: restaurants, shops, historic homes and public spaces. After receiving a deluge of 5,000 submissions, representing 2,600 towns from around the country, HGTV selected Wetumpka because, despite hardships, natural disasters and unexpected setbacks, the community’s undying spirit and resilience showed that they were ready to kickstart a comeback with HGTV’s help, a press release reveals.

The Television series ‘Hometown Takeover’ is a show that features a town that Ben and Erin Napier choose to renovate. Wetumpka was chosen out of 2,600 towns to be features on the series.
Two years after the devastating EF-2 tornado hit the downtown area, the community came together to turn that destruction into an opportunity to grow.
The first episode will run on HGTV on May 2nd.
Wetumpka residents gathered on main street to have their first Community Market since the renovations.
