JOHANNESBURG - Home Affairs Deputy Director-General, Thulani Mavuso acknowledged the challenges facing his department but said the service has improved in recent years.
Mavuso said, there are multiple factors that are at play, one of the issues is the network connectivity. Also, remember that there are also isolated incidents that affect specific offices. For example, the office that we are in, is connected through a copper line. So the branch has the challenge sometimes of copper theft but also we have other offices that are connected through fibre, microwave, and other LTE routers so that is just one of the issues when talking about isolated office incidents.
