John Kerry is facing mounting calls from Republicans to step down from his position as the U.S. special envoy for climate change for allegedly discussing Israeli military operations with Iran's foreign minister.

John Kerry, who came to national prominence by betraying his fellow Vietnam veterans during the war, is denying he discussed Israeli strikes against Iranian targets in Syria with the Iranian foreign minister.
In a tweet on Monday night, Kerry claimed he never talked with Javad Zarif, the current foreign minister of Iran with whom Kerry negotiated the Iran nuclear deal, about the more than 200 Israeli strikes against Iran in Syria.

We reported earlier on the bombshell story that John Kerry allegedly told Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif about 200 Israeli covert operations, according to Zarif.
While the New York Times did include the information in their story about Zarif’s leaked audio tape and the fact that the Revolutionary Guard really ran the country, they buried that part about Kerry way down in the story and only gave one sentence to it. Normally, one would think that would be the lede, at least to American readers. The Washington Post, while writing about the tape, didn’t include the Kerry part at all.
