Cajundome Set to Host Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday Household Hazardous Waste Day is back! After the coronavirus pandemic forced the event to be canceled in 2020, the popular event put on by Lafayette Consolidated Government is happening once again and this year it will be in the CAJUNDOME. If you re a resident in the City of Lafayette or the unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish, you are encouraged to bring your unwanted household chemicals to be recycled or properly disposed. The lists of acceptable and unacceptable items below can be found at www.lafayettela.gov. Residents may also call the Environmental Quality Division at (337) 291-5637.
