LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme distributed allotment letters of plots among low-income people after computerized balloting.
The minister distributed allotment letters of 400 three-marla and 189 five-marla plots in Hazro, Attock district among the lucky applicants. The ceremony was held in this regard under the auspices of the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA). Parliamentary Secretary Housing Taimoor Masood, DG PHATA Asif Ch, General Secretary Housing Task Force Atif Ayub, Deputy Director Abu Bakar and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.

LDA to construct 4,000 apartments

LAHORE:Minister for Housing Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed has said Prime Minister Imran Khan will lay the foundation stone of LDA City New Pakistan Apartments this month.
He said under this project, 35,000 apartments will be constructed on 8,000 kanals of land in Mouza Haloki included in LDA City. In the first phase, 4,000 apartments will be constructed on 650 kanals at a cost of Rs10 billion.
The minister visited the LDA City New Pakistan Apartments site along with LDA Vice-Chairman SM Imran here Tuesday. The minister said that a PC-1 worth Rs20 billion had been approved for the construction of infrastructure in the area. Under the project, 125 blocks of four-storey apartments will be constructed on 563 kanals of land at a cost of about Rs 10 billion. One block will consist of 32 residential units. No threat from Opp’s long or short march, says governor Sarwar

LAHORE : Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said there is no threat to the government from the opposition’s long march or short march.
The governor was talking to Housing Minister Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed who called on him at Governor House.
“January 31st will also pass but the opposition’s claim to resign en masse under PDM will not materialise.
The PDM may move heaven and earth by holding rallies and protests, but the government will remain in power till 2023,” the governor said.
Ch Sarwar said that the government will not fall by the opposition’s rallies and protests.

LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Zakat & Ushr Shaukat Ali Lalika called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office on Monday and congratulated him on recovery from the corona disease. He also apprised the CM of matters pertaining to Zakat & Ushr department adding that South Punjab secretariat was helping in resolving public problems at the grassroots.
The chief minister said the journey of genuine development was going on speedily in South Punjab adding that a number of mega projects had been started to facilitate the people.
