The Odisha government has made home isolation for seven days mandatory for people coming from five States and set up a strict screening mechanism at airports and railway stations.
All Collectors and civic body heads have been asked to keep a close tab on people coming from Maharashtra, Punjab, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh where there has been a surge in COVID-19 cases.
YATS 2020: Day Long Knowledge Sessions For School Students Today 96
Bhubaneswar: Tata Steel in collaboration with Pathani Samanta Planetarium of Science and Technology Department, Government of Odisha, will conduct the ‘Young Astronomer Talent Search’ (YATS) 2020 for school students here today.
Held since 2007, the annual event aims to identify and encourage the talents of school children in the field of astronomy and space science and to popularize the great contributions of the legendary astronomer of the state.
As part of YATS 2020 celebrations, several programmes will be conducted on the Digital platform for high school students of Odisha to mark the 185th Birth Anniversary of Pathani Samanta, the legendary Astronomer of Odisha today.
