After one hot weekend one woman collected 356 plastic and glass bottles, 164 cans, 19 BBQ’s and seven bags of dog mess, including 17 bags of rubbish from 6.30am till 10am. The campaign, supported by the council’s waste and recycling partner, Veolia, also asks people to take their litter home if a bin is full.
