Fernández said French President Macron congratulated him for his stance regarding Venezuela
Argentine President Alberto Fernández Tuesday said the “problem” of human rights in Venezuela “disappearing” and insisted there was no need for blockades when the way to solve these issues is through dialogue.
Fernández once again expressed his support to the report on that matter drafted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (and former Chilean two-time President) Michelle Bachelet.
”Many on the left criticized me because I supported Bachelet s report when it marked actions of the Venezuelan government that violated human rights, but I also worked to help (Michelle) Bachelet to face a permanent office in Venezuela to monitor the operation of human rights, said Fernández in a radio interview.

Venezuelan President willing to meet with former opposition deputy
Caracas, May 13 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on Wednesday announced his willingness to meet and talk with former opposition Deputy Juan Guaidó. In a television speech, Maduro revealed Guaidó´s request, who in 2019 proclaimed himself president of Venezuela, supported and approved by the United States and allies.
Nicolás Maduro stated that he is open to meet and talk with opposition as long as it leads them to leave the path of invasion and coups. Now Guaidó wants to meet me to talk. Was it order by the U.S.? He wants to meet me, what is he up to? Will it be ordered from the US Empire? Your presidency is over, Maduro said.
The world over, women politicians have faced the ire and taunting of men who consider them unfit for the hurly-burly of politics. From sexist slurs to personal attacks, heads of state have reinforced gender stereotypes. Unless these women are tough, they face a lonely time ahead. In India, they have donned the image of a mother or elder sister to survive. Sadly, neither the book on Unparliamentary Expressions nor the ElectionCommission’s Code of Conduct explicitly condemning sexist language and misogynistic terminology have worked, write PRERNA DHOOP & VANDANA DHOOP.
