Naya Rivera: 2020 s most chilling celebrity death

The world has seen the chilling images of the final hours of Glee star Naya Rivera s life but the photos give no clue to the biggest mystery surrounding that fateful day.
On July 8, the 33-year-old actress took her son Josey, 4, to Ventura County s Lake Piru in Southern California and hired a boat.
CCTV footage shows the actress pulling up at the lake in her black Mercedes, before getting out of the car with her son, and boarding the boat they hired.
Ventura County Sheriff’s reports inmate death
VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. The Ventura County Sheriff s Office reported an inmate death in the County Jail Monday afternoon.
The inmate was identified as Steven Johnson, 37, from Ojai.
On Dec. 15 around 11:15 a.m., deputies at the Ventura County Jail reportedly found Johnson alone and unresponsive in his cell.
Deputies provided aid and called for the medical staff. Ventura City Fire and AMR also responded to the jail and transported Johnson to Ventura Community Memorial Hospital.
A few days later, Johnson was transferred to Ventura County Medical Center for additional care.
On Sunday at around 9:13 p.m, Johnson was pronounced dead by the hospital.

California Highway Patrol Officer Todd Barrett and Ventura County Sheriff s Sgt. Ron Helus acted justifiably and did not commit criminal acts when they discharged their weapons to stop the attack at the Borderline Bar & Grill, the District Attorney s Office has found in a report released Thursday.
The results of the investigation of the officer-involved shootings showed Barrett was aiming at gunman Ian David Long when he inadvertently struck Helus and killed him, but that the fatal shooting at the Thousand Oaks bar on Nov. 7, 2018, was a justifiable homicide.

The 28-year-old singer posted a video tribute on social media for the late star.
Lovato shared a video of the view from her hike captioned it Miss You [Naya Rivera]. The music playing the clip was The Beatles Here Comes The Sun, which is a reference to the scene from Glee they were in together.
Lovato guest-starred on the Ryan Murphy series during its fifth season during which Rivera s character Santana and Lovato s character Dani fall in love.
Rivera s body was found in Lake Piru near Los Angeles on July 13 after a five days manhunt. She never returned after renting a pontoon boat with her 5-year-old son, Josey, who was found unharmed in the boat.
