The fourth tropical storm of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season has formed off the coast of South Carolina.
The US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) said Tropical Storm Danny has maximum sustained winds that are estimated to be 40 mph (65 km/h).
A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for a portion of the coast of South Carolina from Edisto Beach northeastward to South Santee River.
At 2 pm EDT, the centre of Tropical Depression Four was located off the coast of South Carolina about 85 miles (135 km) east-southeast of Beaufort and about 55 miles (85 km) southeast of Charleston.
