A man faces up to 10 years in prison after being convicted on criminal sexual conduct charges Wednesday night, according to a news release from the Attorney General s Office.
Mark Felix was found guilty of attempted third-degree criminal sexual conduct as a second-degree felony and two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct as a misdemeanor.
On March 4, a 15-year-old girl slept in her apartment when she felt a man sexually assault her, according to court documents. She recognized the man as Felix, according to a magistrate s complaint filed in Superior Court.
David James Paco Cruz was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday after being convicted by a jury on criminal sexual conduct charges.
Cruz was first charged in June of 2019 after a woman, now 20, told the authorities she had been raped multiple times since she was 12, according to Pacific Daily News files.
He was convicted in January of two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony and two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct as a second-degree felony.
Cruz appeared before Judge Vernon Perez at the Superior Court of Guam Monday with his attorney Peter Santos.
