Hall, Vermont Business Magazine The mess surrounding the fate of the campus of the defunct Marlboro College entered a new phase on May 12, when the Marlboro Music School, Inc – popularly known as the Marlboro Music Festival – filed a complaint in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Division, seeking the court s help in resolving questions that are much more complicated than they might appear to be.
To whom should MMF be paying its rent for its use of the campus? The complaint in effect asks. Who owns the property?
The 533-acre campus provides the venue for the festival s annual summer programs, a fixture in the classical music world since 1951.

Vermont Business Magazine The Agency of Natural Resources Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) announced today that J.A. DeVos & Sons, Inc of North Ferrisburgh was fined $9,000 for delivering gasoline without ensuring proper gasoline vapor recovery.
In October 2019, J.A. DeVos & Sons, Inc made a fuel delivery to a gas station in downtown Montpelier. DEC personnel responded later that day to a complaint of gasoline odors inside the neighboring Capitol Plaza Hotel. When contacted about the fuel delivery, the employee indicated that they had failed to use proper vapor recovery methods while filling the gasoline storage tank.

On May 5, 2021 at approximately 9:55 pm, Conway Police Officers were made aware of a subject, wanted out of the State of Vermont who was believed to be armed and staying in a local hotel. The wanted subject was identified as
Arthur Butler, 19 years of age,
Topsham, Vermont.
Conway Dispatchers confirmed the open warrant for Butler and advised he was wanted on the charge of
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon out of Vermont with extradition authorized for all New England states.
