Jan 8, 2021 MANISTIQUE, MI – Sylvester Lawrence Rubick Jr. “Seb”, age 80, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at around 8:00 a.m. at University of Michigan Hospital due to complications of a blood clot in his left leg. During his hospital stay, he developed a blood infection which turned septic and ultimately took his life. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by the love of his family. Seb was born on April 23, 1940, to Sylvester Rubick Sr. and Florence (Williams) Rubick in Manistique, MI. Seb was the eldest of three boys. His younger brothers were Ronald (Ron) Rubick and George Rubick. Each of his family members preceded him in death.
