Judging solely by New Jersey’s summer concert schedule, which currently overflows with large-scale spectacles beginning in late May, the coronavirus pandemic must have already been thwarted. Erased. Older than yesterday’s bagels.
Consider the lineups for PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel and its sister amphitheater BB&T Pavilion in Camden, the state’s two most popular outdoor music venues: These spaces alone list a combined 34 concerts between Memorial Day Weekend and the end of September all of them on sale and so far devoid of any COVID-19-related restrictions.
If it happens, the Barefoot Country Music Festival in Wildwood is going to be the biggest collection of country music that South Jersey has experienced, well, ever!
