Deputy Minister for Education, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour says he is poised to serve Ghana and Assin South Constituency most conscientiously as he was sworn in as Deputy Minister for Education.
“I’m grateful to the Lord Most High for His exceptional favor, and to His Excellency the President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the confidence reposed in me.
“In humility and poise, I do accept the responsibility to serve my country and constituents conscientiously. So help me God!” he posted on his social media handles shortly after the swearing in.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the NPP and the then presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo conceded defeat in the 2008 General Election for the sake of the sanctity of the country’s democracy and for peace to prevail.
He noted that the NPP lost the 2008 presidential election by just 40,000 votes to the NDC, but they accepted the results and sovereign will of Ghanaians.
“It is not easy to lose an election. President Akufo-Addo and I have lost elections before and it was a painful moment.
“We lost in 2008 by just 40,000 votes but we prioritised the peace and sanctity of our democracy and conceded,” the Vice President stated.
Ablekuma North MCE takes covid-19 jab as vaccination exercise begins

The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Municipal Health Directorate has launched its Covid-19 vaccination campaign with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Kofi Ofori taking the first dose.
In a short address, the MCE urged members of the public not to panic but avail themselves when their time is due to take the vaccine.
He said the proven leadership by the President and his close associates was enough proof of the safeness of the vaccine adding that all should partake of the exercise to help bring life to normalcy.
