Reports suggest that veteran comedian Vadivelu has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Suriya s upcoming film with Pandiraj. The film went on floors recently in Chennai.

Veteran actor Vadivelu, who was last seen in Vijay s Mersal, might share screen space with Suriya in his upcoming film with director Pandiraj. Post the success of Karthi s Kadaikutty Singam, Suriya announced that he will be teaming up with the director of the film, Pandiraj. D Imman will compose the music of the film and it will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures.

Dhanush, on Thursday, took to Twitter to unveil the release of Vetri Maaran s upcoming production venture, Sangathalaivan. The film features Samuthirakani and Ramya Subramanian in the lead roles.

Samuthirakani s long-delayed film, Sangathalaivan, is all set to hit the screens on February 26. The film, which has been in the making for nearly two years, is bankrolled by Vetri Maaran under his home banner, Grass Root Film Company. Directed by Manimaran of Udhayam NH14 fame, the film features popular VJ Ramya Subramanian as the female lead.
Suriya, who was last seen in Soorarai Pottru, might team up with director Boyapati Srinu for an action entertainer. The film will be produced by Dil Raju.
