Avelacom, the low latency connectivity, IT infrastructure and data solutions provider for global financial markets, is delighted to announce that it has won this year’s “Best Infrastructure Provider to the Sell Side” award from WatersTechnology.
Avelacom was selected by judges for its network infrastructure expansion and development of new unique routes, in more markets, leading to better market data access and trading, along with improved latency and resiliency of network connections. Avelacom’s initiatives responded to sell-side firms’ focus in 2021: accessing new fast-growing markets including cryptocurrency and digital assets; seeking new arbitrage opportunities; operational resiliency; improved capacity in order to handle enormously volatile markets; and cost optimization.
“Given Coke’s choice to cave to the pressure of an out of control cancel culture, we respectfully request all Coca-Cola Company products be removed from our office suite immediately,” they wrote.
“Should Coke choose to read the bill, share its true intentions and accept their role in the dissemination of mistruths, we would welcome a conversation to rebuild a working relationship,” the lawmakers said, echoing Republican claims that the national hubbub over the law is based on lies and/or misleading facts.
The letter accuses the company of deciding to “perpetuate a national dialogue” they said “seeks to intentionally mislead the citizens of Georgia and deepen a divide in our great state.”

A group of GOP lawmakers in Georgia are moving to remove Coca-Cola products from their offices after the company’s CEO slammed the state’s recently passed voting bill.
In a letter dated Saturday, eight Republican representatives claimed that the company caved to “cancel culture” and accused it of “perpetuating a national dialogue.” The legislators also said Coca-Cola had intentionally misled Georgia residents and caused a deeper divide in the state.
