Serious crash, Wellington Urban Motorway
Police can now name the two people who died following a crash on the Wellington Urban Motorway on Tuesday morning.
They were 76-year-old Lisale Foaese and 41-year-old George Foaese, both of Wellington.
Police would like to express its sympathy and condolences to their family at the time.
Enquiries into circumstances of the crash are ongoing.

Two others were seriously injured when two cars crashed at around 4.20am today, police confirmed to 1 NEWS.
It s believed the two who died were travelling southbound in a northbound lane when the two vehicles collided.
After reviewing CCTV footage, police say the vehicle in which two people died today entered the motorway by turning right into a northbound lane from Cornish Street, Petone.
The two people killed in this week’s Wellington wrong-way motorway crash were a father and son.
A driver travelled the wrong way for about 10 kilometres before colliding with an oncoming car in a crash which killed both occupants and left two critically injured on the Wellington Urban Motorway. The car entered the motorway and headed south after turning right from Cornish St in Petone. Both occupants were killed in the collision at 4.20am. Two others were in hospital in a critical condition as of Tuesday afternoon. Cornish St is a one-lane, one-way side street used as a turnoff from State Highway 2 for northbound cars heading to the Lower Hutt suburb of Korokoro. There are warning signs marking it as an exit from the highway.
