YANGON: In addition to the thousand who took to the streets yesterday, protesters have come up with some unusual ways to get back at the military for the Feb 1 coup that toppled Ms Aung San Suu Kyi s civilian government.
One way is to hack the government s websites.
A group called Myanmar Hackers disrupted websites including those of the Central Bank, the Myanmar military s propaganda page, state-run broadcaster MRTV, the Port Authority, and the Food and Drug Administration. We are fighting for justice in Myanmar, the group said on its Facebook page. It is like a mass protesting of people in front of government websites.
