HONG KONG The offense related property of Jimmy Lai Chee-ying, an instigator of Hong Kong riots, was frozen on Friday under the national security law in Hong Kong. John Lee, secretary for security of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government, issued notices to freeze all the shares of Next Digital Ltd. held by Lai and the property in the local bank accounts of three companies owned by him. ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2021 ) :Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Friday welcomed the recently announced Eid ceasefire by the Afghan parties and emphasized the continuous efforts for a permanent truce.
The foreign minister received a telephone call fromAfghan counterpart Mohammad Haneef Atmar wherein they exchanged greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan s support to the Afghan Peace Process.
The two foreign ministers exchanged views about the current situation in Palestine and Masjid Al-Aqsa and agreed to remain in contact on the Palestine issue.

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Friday said India had badly failed in its nefarious designs to get Pakistan blacklisted by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). In a statement, he said the Indian government was using the issue of FATF against Pakistan for political gains.
He said Pakistan s efforts were reflective of the fact that it was serious about taking actions against terror-financing and money-laundering. He said the FATF had acknowledged Pakistan s implementation of 24 out of 27 points, expressing confidence that progress on the three points would be fully made by June.
