Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday on a two-day visit during which he will hold important talks with the country s top leadership and the Army chief on bilateral ties as well as on the situation in Afghanistan.
Lavrov, the first Russian foreign minister to visit Pakistan since 2012, was received at the airport by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Tuesday s meeting will provide India with a window to share its frank assessment about the continuing scenario in eastern Ladakh.
An important round of discussion between India and Russia will take place on Tuesday between the visiting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. Mr. Lavrov who will be accompanied by Moscow’s Special Envoy on Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov is expected to brief the Indian side about the Russian plans regarding the difficult peace process underway in Afghanistan.
Tuesday s meeting will provide India with a window to share its frank assessment about the continuing scenario in eastern Ladakh along the Line of Actual Control.

Islamabad, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, will pay an official visit to Pakistan on 6-7 April 2021.
The Russian Foreign Minister will have delegation-level talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. He will call on Prime Minister Imran Khan and have interaction with other dignitaries.
During the talks between the two Foreign Ministers, the entire gamut of Pakistan-Russia relations will be reviewed and ways discussed to further broaden and deepen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields. The two Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on regional and international issues.
No trade with India till restoration of Kashmir’s status: FM Qureshi

Shah Mehmood Qureshi says Pakistan has a clear stance on normalising ties with India and resuming trade.
FM Qureshi says this in a press conference in Multan.
He says China had good friendly relations with Pakistan for the last many decades.
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi said that there would be no trade with India till restoration of Kashmir’s special status which was illegally removed by India on 5th August 2019.
Talking to different delegations of local people during his visit of NA 156/157 constituencies here on Saturday, FM Qureshi said that bilateral relations of Pakistan and India were not normal.
