Turkey has imposed quarantine restrictions on arrivals from Pakistan and several other countries, the Foreign Office of Pakistan said Thursday. Pakistanis travelling to Turkey will now have to stay in quarantine for 14 days, FO spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said. Turkish authorities have already implemented the new rules from June 1. Chaudhry said the Pakistani Embassy in Ankara is in touch with Turkish officials as many Pakistani have been stranded in Istanbul after the development.

The wife of an Indian diplomat has tested positive for coronavirus, the Foreign Office of Pakistan said Monday.
The woman arrived in Pakistan as part of a 12-member delegation from India on May 22 through Wagah border. Their tests were at first negative but then was positive in a second round.
Pakistan has asked the delegation to quarantine.
The foreign office said that Pakistan has told the Indian foreign ministry to ensure strict compliance with the National Control Command Centreâs instructions.
