SALT LAKE CITY – April 5, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continued the expansion of its White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice with the addition of former U.S. Attorney John Huber as a shareholder in its Salt Lake City office. Huber was most recently the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) longest-tenured active U.S. Attorney, having been nominated by two presidents and unanimously confirmed twice by the U.S. Senate.

( FCPA ) headline was the record-shattering global
anticorruption enforcement fines and penalties collected by foreign
regulators in actions involving a coordinated FCPA resolution. In

In remarks at the American Conference Institute’s 37th International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) on December 3, 2020, Gen. Brian C. Rabbit, then acting assistant attorney general of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), stated that “[n]otably, many of [DOJ’s] corporate resolutions in 2020 included coordination with one or more foreign enforcement authorities an increasingly important aspect of [DOJ’s] work.”
