Musso & Frank Grill, one of the region s most iconic eateries, will reopen Thursday following a year-long coronavirus-induced closure. With our reopening, we re being very careful to ensure that our 100-plus years of tradition won t change at all, according to CFO/COO Mark Echeverria, a fourth-generation member of the family of owners. NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA Los Angeles is beginning to open back up! As more and more residents begin to receive their vaccinations, guidelines are loosening and businesses are reopening their doors.
Many familiar faces are returning to the scene, while some new restaurants and coffee shops are stepping into the fray as we approach summer. In West Hollywood, Blackwood Coffee Bar just opened their second location along Santa Monica Boulevard, bringing an end to a lengthy moving process that started in 2019.
Elsewhere in Hollywood, Musso & Frank Grill announced they will finally reopen on May 6, almost 10 months after they shut down operations in July. The 102-year old restaurant will be able to serve guests just in time for Mother s Day, with their tried-and true formula that has earned them plenty of success over the years.

The team behind Italian restaurant Union just opened a sibling concept, U Street Pizza, which puts a California spin on New York-style pies. Two-day-fermented dough gets topped with the likes of pepperoni with vodka sauce; littleneck clams with parsley and lemon; and mozzarella with fior di latte and fresh cream. Salads, arancini, seasonal vegetables and desserts also are on offer. Open daily with indoor dining and takeout available; delivery and outdoor dining coming soon.
