  Dual Impacts of COVID-19 and Racism and Inequity on Child Development: Interdisciplinary Conversations and Development of a Research-Policy Agenda Friday,  February 5th from 1-2:30 PM, Ariel Ford and Linda Chappel will join us for a Carolina Seminars series titled Dual Impacts of COVID-19 and Racism and Inequity on Child Development: Interdisciplinary Conversations and Development of a Research-Policy Agenda. This presentation, co-convened by Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, will discuss the implications of COVID-19 with a focus on early childcare and education. The seminar series will increase awareness about the impact of disparities that contribute to children’s ability to keep pace. The seminar will further inform science-based policy measures. Our goal is to compel action within our local and state governments to drive initiatives that combat disparities impacting early childhood learning and well-being.
