In an interview with ANI, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar spoke about a range of subjects including COVID-19 and India s relations with China. Speaking on India-China relations which had hit rock bottom after the violent face-off in the Galwan valley between the armies of the two nations, Jaishankar said there has been some progress in some areas on the bilateral relations as the two sides have resorted to talks on disengagements.

EAM S Jaishankar says COVID-19 is a shared problem
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar has said that coronavirus is a shared problem. In time of need, India exported medicines like hydroxychloroquine to many countries and sent vaccines too, he pointed out. He said that what has been now termed as aid , the government calls it friendship . Dr Jaishankar also said he would do whatever he can as an external affairs minister to help the people of the country.

New Delhi: India s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will visit the United Kingdom tomorrow for the G7 Foreign Ministers meet. The UK has invited India for an in-person G7 foreign ministers meeting, for which FMs of Australia, South Korea, South Africa, and the Chair and Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have also been invited.
