Stiefer was last seen at 10 a.m. last Wednesday in Tyler. His family says he is very ill.
Stiefer is 5’9” and 100 pounds. He has short brown hair and a patchy beard. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue Wrangler jeans.
The Texas Department of Public Safety activated a CLEAR alert for Stiefer.
The state s Coordinated Law Enforcement Adult Rescue (CLEAR) Alert program, created by 2019 Texas legislation, is designed to locate individuals who are in imminent danger or whose disappearance is involuntary. The program closes the gap between Amber Alerts issued for missing children and Silver Alerts issued for senior citizens.

Two little boys who were reported missing from North Haven have been found in Tampa, Florida and they are safe, police said.
Police were called Saturday to assist the state Department of Children and Families with a welfare check on 2-year-old Lucifer Guy and his 12-month-old brother, Thor, and learned the boys were with their mother, who might have fled to avoid DCF involvement, police said.
The boys and their mother were found Wednesday in Tampa, Florida and they are safe, police said.

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. Silver Alerts have been canceled for two young boys out of North Haven.
Police said the 1 and 2-year-old brothers were believed to have been with their mother when the Silver Alert was issued Monday.
Police were initially called to the home to help the Connecticut Department of Children and Families with a welfare check when it was learned the mother may have fled with the children to avoid DCF involvement.
North Haven police said with the hell of the Hillsborough County Sherriff s Office (Child Protective Investigation division) in Florida, the boys were found with their mother in Tampa. Police said all were found safe.
