Charles Schumer is pitching Intel to build its next semiconductor plant at the White Pine Commerce Park outside Syracuse or three other Upstate New York sites, saying all are “tailor made” for the company’s new manufacturing facility. Schumer, D-NY, the Senate majority leader, said he promoted White Pine Commerce Park in Clay, the STAMP site in Western New York, Luther Forest Technology Campus in the Capital Region and the Marcy Nanocenter site in the Mohawk Valley in a phone call with Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger.
