Parents began to take over a local school board last weekend with the triumph of two parents who captured seats on a platform to rid classrooms of state-sanctioned racism under the disguise of critical race theory.
Cameron “Cam” Bryan, a civil engineer and father of four, and Hannah Smith, an attorney and mother of four, each picked up seats on the Carroll Independent School District school board in Southlake, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth.
“They can’t argue with us,” Bryan said upon victory, branding their win as a community mandate to restore the district’s focus on academic excellence as opposed to leftist indoctrination.

Food security advocates said Thursday that Gov. Kevin Stitt s ending of Oklahoma s declared state of emergency amid the COVID-19 pandemic means as many as 168,000 Oklahomans could soon see an abrupt drop-off in nutrition benefit payments. The Biden administration has enabled SNAP emergency allotments, which would be an additional benefit to Oklahomans who earn under 115% of the federal poverty level, said Bailey Perkins, state advocacy and public policy director at Oklahoma Food Banks, referring to the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as Food Stamps). In order for states to unlock that, they have to have an emergency order in place. Since Gov. Stitt ended the executive order this week, that means we have about 60 days for Oklahomans who were receiving that benefit to get it, and after that they lose that benefit, Perkins said of the approaching June 30 termination date.

President Biden has padded his administration with a number of individuals with strong ties to progressive groups who receive anonymous funding, including his chief of staff Ron Klain, which could provide a pipeline for the groups to push their agendas to the White House.
Biden has surrounded himself with such individuals despite aligning with the left-wing flank by
calling for an end [to] dark money groups on his campaign website.
Klain, who has a long history with Biden dating back to the 1980s, now helps steer his political agenda from the Oval Office. Klain has ties to the Center for American Progress (CAP) Action Fund, a Washington, D.C.-based organization led by Hillary Clinton aide John Podesta. Klain for several years served on the group s board of directors, which does not disclose its donors in tax forms.
