This is Part Two of the April edition of my monthly column, in which I recap what’s been going on in the Korean Baseball Organization on both a league- and team-wide scale. In case you missed it, Part One provided a brief introduction to this column, discussed league-wide trends, then covered the Samsung Lions, LG Twins, KT Wiz, and SSG Landers. Today’s post will cover the remaining six teams. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them as comments or reach out to me via Twitter. Without further ado, let’s talk some KBO!

DraftKings KBO: Friday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings KBO series.
Thursday s KBO action featured quite a lot of runs, with four teams scoring at least seven. The two highest scores came in the Giants 17-9 blowout win over the Tigers. Jun Woo Jeon grabbed four hits for the Giants, with Chi Hong An and Dixon Machado each driving in four runs. Elsewhere, Kang Nam Yoo s three-hit day and Andrew Suarez s seven innings of two-run ball helped the Twins beat the rival Bears, 7-2, while Suk Min Park s four-hit, five RBI day helped the Dinos beat the Landers by a similar 7-1 score.
THUNDER BAY Former Thunder Bay Border Cat Jason Vosler has joined the MLB club.
The infielder, drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 16th round in 2014, on Saturday pinch hit for San Francisco Giants starter Kevin Gausman in the eighth inning, fouling out to third.
The 27-year-old, who hit .304 in spring training, played for the Cats in 2013, hitting .275 with seven home runs and 47 RBI.
Vosler spent the past two seasons in the San Diego Padres organization and signed with the Giants in the off-season and was added to the team s 40-man roster.
He s the eighth former Border Cat to reach the major leagues, a list that also includes Seth Frankhoff, Matt Mangini, Blaine Hardy, A.J. Schugel, Jonathan Diaz, Ryan Court and Wes Parsons.

Defending KBO champions Dinos set to lose 4 players to military February 5, 2021
- It’s rare for championship-winning teams in sports to simply ride star players to the title. They have to get production from role players, too, and teams invest time and money into acquiring depth pieces.
One quick glance at the roster of the NC Dinos would tell you the 2020 Korean Series champions are mostly intact. Outfielder Na Sung-bum attempted to land a major league contract but ended up staying put. Former major league pitcher Wes Parsons is replacing Mike Wright in the starting rotation.
But they will also be without some useful players who did their part in the championship run.
