Santa Clarita Chamber Of Commerce, SchlickArt To Unveil Quarantine Photo Exhibit The Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce (SCV Chamber) and SchlickArt and Photo have partnered together to create a photo exhibit displaying a gallery of photos depicting the first 12 weeks of quarantine in the Santa Clarita Valley which began approximately one year ago.  Entitled “The 12 Months of Quarantine”, the exhibit is set to be housed at the Westfield Valencia Town Center on the first floor at Sears Court and is scheduled to open for public viewing Monday May 3 through Sunday May 31.  “The 12 Months of Quarantine was just one of the ways the SCV Chamber worked to keep our community spirit uplifted during one of the toughest times any of us had dealt with,” stated John Vance, chair of the SCV Chamber Board of Directors. “We were proud to work with SchlickArt Photography and Video as they, in a safe manner, captured what some of us spent our time doing during the quarantine and now we

National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign conducted every March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. SCV News | SCV Chamber, PPE Unite, County Team Up to Distribute Safety Equipment

The PPE Unite program teamed up with a number of county and local officials Saturday to bring free personal protective equipment to small businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley. The event led by the coalition of groups that also included the Los Angeles Small Business Development Center Network, the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s office saw the distribution of more than 12 pallets of PPE equipment given to those who participated in the drive-thru event. “This is all about supporting their workers and giving them something that can safely reopen and keep going with their business,” said Tova Mac, one of the co-founders of PPE Unite. “We are giving away face masks, face shields and hand sanitizers for these businesses.”

Saddle Ranch Chop House In Valencia Closes Permanently

Saddle Ranch’s Valencia location joins a growing list of Santa Clarita businesses forced to shut down due to the economic fallout caused by recent shutdowns implemented by public health officials as they continue to battle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, the Coco’s Bakery in Canyon Country permanently closed its doors. There is no exact count available for how many locations have been forced to close since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as of Wednesday.
